Welcome to the Sacral Chakra Module of Chakrafit Freedom!
Remember that you can do this course at your own pace so don't feel rushed if you're still working on the Root chakra. You can start this module later or do a mixture, circling back to the root chakra in between if that feels right. All the module pages will be active until June and then mp3s of the main journeys will be provided at the end of the whole course so that you can keep them forever.
You can choose how often you do the sacral chakra practices, whether you do them daily, a couple of times a week, or even just once. It's important that you don't push yourself to do more than your system is ready for as the Kundalini energy, that can arise when doing chakra work, is healthiest when it unfolds gently and naturally. If you start to experience intense reactions, I suggest using the potion of protection journey and the 7 chakras meditation as a sort of anchor to even things out while you work on the sacral chakra. If your mind starts to interfere and resistance to doing the work arises, then I suggest doing the True Self journey

Guided Sacral Chakra Journey
This guided journey takes you deep into the sanctuary of your sacral chakra to receive healing and guidance.
I would suggest doing this a few times if you can, setting a different intention each time . e.g 1. Journey for general sacral chakra healing and guidance and just see what happens! 2. Journey to ask for healing relating to a particular sacral chakra issue 3. Journey to ask a specific sacral chakra question with a view to gaining clarity on what action you can take or changes you can make beyond the journey. There are prompts in the journey, offering suggestions about potential sacral chakra issues, so your questions will likely just arise naturally as part of the process, at least the first time you do it.
Avoid asking questions that require a Yes/No answer. It's better to ask questions that start with 'How can I...? What can I do to....? Where should I...? What will my life be like if I choose this option? What lesson is this showing me? 'How can I change this?' 'Is there a way to learn this life lesson in a way that's easier and more enjoyable?' Don't feel pressured to get the correct wording though. As long as your intention is clear in your heart, that can often be enough and sometimes even more powerful than using human words! However, if you feel better with a clear sentence prepared, you can even write your question or intention on a piece of paper before you start. That works just as well.
Remember that the answers and healing results from a journey can show up within the journey itself (all senses are valid, so it doesn't need to be visual) or in the days and weeks following. The answers can also show up in different ways, sometimes even in the form of a person suddenly entering your life and giving you the exact information you need.

You can use this recently updated 30 Mins Shamanic Drumming video for unguided journeying (with basic on-screen prompts at the start to send you on your way)
Visual/Sensory Practice
Please note that there is no talking in this 10 min meditation and it is designed to be watched rather than just listening to the music. There are on-screen affirmations, water droplets and a soothing river flute music track. I would suggest sitting or even lie down on the floor (as long as you can still see the screen comfortably). While you watch, you could either 1. Gently rock or rotate your pelvis from side to side, back and forth, round and round while you watch the video meditation, to activate your sacral chakra. 2. Just watch it quietly, staying still but breathing in and out of your sacral chakra, immersing yourself in the water energy and the affirmations.3. place your hands on your lower abdomen area while you watch and either keeping them still (allowing Reiki to flow if you're trained in that) or moving your hands in circles, stroking, rubbing or tapping/patting your lower abdomen, to connect with your sacral chakra. You can say the affirmations out loud or in your head when they appear on-screen or just let them sneak into your subconscious. The affirmations that begin with 'you' are just meant to sneak in, so you don't have to say those ones. However, I guess you could experiment with a mirror, repeating the 'you' affirmations to the you in the mirror. That would be interesting. I'm sure you'll come up with even more ways to practice this, with adaptations to suit what feels right to you. I noticed that the music sometimes jumps slightly when the affirmations appear on the screen, which is very strange as I added the music track separately while creating this. I even tried editing it all again and it still happened, but not every time. There's no technical reason why this should happen so, in the end, I decided that perhaps the energy of the affirmations themselves was sometimes creating a wee shamanic jolt for us so that a little opening appears for the positive words to jump in. You may or may not experience this divine glitch but see it as an extra gift if you do and let me know if anything else peculiar happens ;-)
Sacral Chakra Mantras
The Hindu God Vishnu is often associated with the sacral chakra. The button below take you to a youtube video of Deva Premal chanting the vishnu mantra, which is called 'Mangalam'. This is a beautiful mantra to listen to or chant along to for sacral chakra balance.
Cord Cutting (and spirit of water) Guided Journey
We did this journey with the Wednesday group one week and I just realised that it would be a good journey to include for the sacral chakra module as it involves a boat on water, connecting to the spirit of water and also the sacral area is often the main point where we feel and absorb emotional cords and attachments. Hope you enjoy it! If you've done this journey before with the group, this time do it with the specific intention of healing and balancing your sacral chakra.
Spiritual Dry Cleaning: Sexual Healing
Some of you might have done the original Spiritual Dry Cleaning Journey at the Wednesday group or on Youtube. That one lasts around an hour and covers general topics, with lots of repetition to release the layers. This one starts the same but the script has been altered and shortened, with less repetition (it's around 30 mins) to provide a specific focus on clearing and reclaiming your sexual energy, a key part of sacral chakra balance. Please be aware that some of the things mentioned could be triggering for some people but hopefully you'll experience the love that wraps round it all throughout. You might want to do this a number of times before you are fully able to surrender into it but everyone is different. Like the original Spiritual Dry Cleaning, this track contains theta wave binaural beats, which are said to assist the active dreaming state and help with absorbing new ideas. Click the button below to give it a go.
Tantra-Inspired Sexual Spiritual Drum Meditation
You can use the drumming track (scroll above) for this but feel free to use any other (preferably non-verbal) music track if you prefer. You could also try experiencing it while you drum if you have your own drum (For some people this might be a distraction, for others it might help). Make sure your body is supported by cushions or blankets in case you end up making unexpected movements. Or you could try it while dancing about naked. It's really up to you! Read the suggested instructions first, to get an idea of how to proceed and then just go with the flow and enjoy!
This can be practiced while masturbating or even while having sex with another person if they’re up for it! If you’re not comfortable with that or don’t want to/can’t do that for whatever reason, you can simply intend to invite a gentle flow of sexual/sensual/pleasurable chi into your being as you breathe). The following is just a ‘template’, there is no right or wrong way, so just go with the flow that feels best for you.
If you’re comfortable and able to reach orgasm, then allow the feeling of arousal to build and build with the drumming. However, when you are about to orgasm, instead of letting the energy release in a scattered way, breathe the orgasmic energy, directing it over and over throughout your whole body, allowing the climax of chi to cleanse, heal and energise your whole being. Use it as potent medicine rather than letting it escape! Then just allow your breath to naturally slow down and rest for a while afterwards, basking in the glow of your divine, sensual self!
Another option, could be to do a version of this in the bath or shower, which would allow you to connect to the element water at the same time. Tantric Multi-tasking!

- Allow the drumming or music to sort of enter into your body, as though you are merging with it or embracing it. Set the intention that you are awakening and celebrating your sacred sexuality.
- Begin to breathe, with a focus on your sacral chakra area, perhaps even imagining that you’re breathing in and out of your genital area.
- You can either just breathe, allowing sexual energy to build with each breath you take or you can begin to masturbate as you breathe, touching yourself, as a way to connect with your sexual chi.
- If you don’t want to orgasm or are unable to orgasm, that’s fine, it's a journey not a destination so don’t put any pressure on yourself. Simply continue to breathe and/or touch your body, connecting with your sacred sexuality and the pleasurable feelings that this can activate. Allow that sexual chi to act as healing, nourishing medicine flowing through your whole being.
- If any intrusive thoughts or unpleasant feelings arise, try to re-focus on your breathing and call in a power animal or guide to dissolve and transform the intrusions. If for whatever reason the process is too upsetting, leave it for another time and perhaps do the spiritual dry cleaning sexual healing journey again to release whatever has arisen. You can always try again another time or adjust the technique to suit you.
- Some of you might feel able to release any unpleasant feelings during the drumming, via crying, screaming, chanting, movement, focused out-breaths etc. (but only do this if you feel safe enough and confident enough to release in this way on your own or have the support of a trusted person with you).

Salt baths and Kombucha!
A couple of other things that can help your sacral chakra (and are just pleasurable and cleansing for all your chakras!) are having salt baths (or use a salt scrub in the shower) and drinking Kombucha ( a fermented, lightly effervescent, sweetened black or green tea drink commonly consumed for its health benefits, especially for the gut.). I use various brands and types depending on my mood and finances at the time, but these ones below are just the ones I happen to have at the moment. The plain Westlab Dead Sea and Himalayan salts are available from Boots the chemist and are only around £2 or £3. Or you can go for slightly fancier versions, which often contain bergamot, frankincense etc. I prefer kombucha when it has a bit of a flavour added (the one below is tart cherry and I'm sipping it right now in between typing!) as the plain stuff tastes a bit like 'feet' but that might just be me! Other flavours I like are ginger and Lavender-Lemon by a Glasgow-based Kombucha company called Clever Kombucha .
